Summary

Provides administrative support and guidance to assigned area.
Responsibilities

Provides administrative guidance for projects and departmental functions as assigned by the manager. Provides research, analysis, evaluation and recommendations. Tracks schedules, procedures, and deadlines for projects.
Supports business operations that require specialized knowledge of department and organization procedures. Supports standing committees.
Prepares and monitors financial accounts; investigates variances, providing analysis and recommendation. May provide oversight of administrative budget and department payroll.
Assists management to ensure that departmental operations comply with organizational policies and procedures. Acts as a lead to other support staff as assigned.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements

Required Education: High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
Required Licensure/Certification: None required.
Experience: 3 years of administrative or department support. Experience in organization of complex projects, project management or process improvement.
Experience working with designated software.
