Vaco is hiring for a Staff Accountant opportunity in Coraopolis, PA. Direct Hire, Onsite. Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with NetSuite experience to support day‑to‑day accounting operations in a fast‑paced financial services environment. This role will be responsible for general ledger activities, reconciliations, and assisting with month‑end close while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
Support financial reporting and variance analysis
Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions
Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls
Analyze financial data to support operational and strategic decision‑making
Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations and finance teams
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2‑4+ years of accounting experience
Hands‑on NetSuite experience Highly Preferred (Not Required)
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Experience
Experience in financial services, mortgage, or related industries
Exposure to multi‑entity or high‑volume transaction environments
Experience supporting audits and internal controls
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range for this role is $60,000–$70,000 per year. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
