Financial Solutions Advisor – Centered Advisor Development Program
The Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) in the centralized segment provides phone‑based, fully licensed advisory services for Merrill Wealth Management clients. After completing Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams, FSAs receive training and guidance to develop client relationships, assess financial needs, and recommend investment, savings and liability solutions that align with client goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
Build and manage a portfolio of affluent and high‑net‑worth clients.
Conduct client reviews and presentations, delivering comprehensive financial advice.
Identify and recommend appropriate product and service solutions that meet client goals.
Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
Apply regulatory due diligence in daily activities and in creating long‑term client strategies.
Maintain professional licensing requirements (SIE, Series 7, Series 66). These must be obtained within 60 and 120 days of hire respectively.
Required Qualifications
Confidence working in a sales role.
Strong client relationship building through effective communication.
Proactive mindset with effective time‑management.
Results‑driven mindset with prioritization of client interests.
Ability to identify appropriate client solutions applying new learnings.
Understanding of regulatory due diligence requirements.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services or sales experience.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
Capability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Benefits and Compensation
Pay: $28.85 – $33.65 hourly. This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
