About the Team
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customer invoicing, managing various transactional accounting activities, diligently supporting the month‑end close process, and assisting with other critical accounting tasks as needed.

What You’ll Do
Customer Invoicing & Accounts Receivable
Generate, review, and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner, ensuring all billing information, pricing, and terms align with contracts, sales orders, and service agreements
Verify service/product delivery details with sales and operations teams to ensure correct billing
Process credit memos, adjustments, and refunds efficiently and accurately
Maintain organized billing records and supporting documentation for audit readiness
Respond promptly and professionally to customer billing inquiries, resolving discrepancies and issues with a customer‑centric approach
Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collection efforts as needed, collaborating with the team to identify overdue accounts
Process and reconcile customer payments (cash application)
Transactional Accounting Support
Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely payment
Prepare and post various journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation in the general ledger
Assist with daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are accurate, complete, and properly classified
Reconcile various balance sheet accounts (e.g., prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities) on a monthly basis
Month‑End Close Assistance
Diligently support the monthly financial close process by preparing and reviewing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for all assigned accounts
Ensure all transactional activities are recorded accurately and on time to facilitate accurate financial reporting
Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements and reports as directed by the Accounting Manager/Controller
General & Team Support
Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient accounting operations
Assist with ad‑hoc accounting projects, data gathering, and reporting as required
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls within the Accounting Department
Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information
Assist with external audit requests by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA preferred, but not required
1‑3 years’ experience in accounting under US GAAP; public accounting/audit experience preferred
Highly detail‑oriented with strong experience in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
Salary Range
US Salary Range: $77,000—$102,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full‑time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. Additional compensation details will be shared during the hiring process.
