Construction Controller | Bonus Eligible | Profit Sharing
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Oversee full‑cycle accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll and general ledger while delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to leadership.

Drive project financial success through job costing, budgeting, variance analysis, and close collaboration with project managers.

Prepare and manage WIP schedules to support accurate revenue recognition and forecasting.

Monitor cash flow and lead billing/collections processes including AIA billing, progress billing, and retainage.

Ensure GAAP compliance; maintain strong internal controls; coordinate audits and tax filings with external partners.

Identify opportunities to streamline systems and processes, including evaluation and implementation of accounting technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction exposure is a plus.

Knowledge of job costing and WIP reporting with proficiency in tools such as Sage 300/Timberline, Procore, Viewpoint, and advanced Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for operational teams.

Collaborative leader who can partner cross‑functionally with project managers and executives.
