
Warehouse Supervisor

Position Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading all day‑to‑day warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory, efficient material movement, and safe working practices. This role oversees shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory control to support production requirements and maintain smooth warehouse workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory control activities.
Ensure incoming materials are accurately and promptly processed into the ERP system (SAP).
Oversee inspection of inbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and resolution of shortages or damages.
Lead, coach, and support a team of 15‑20 hourly warehouse employees, including scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping (Kronos).
Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to point‑of‑use locations.
Manage return, restocking, and disposition of excess or unused materials.
Develop, update, and enforce standard work procedures for warehouse processes.
Track and resolve receiving errors through maintenance of a receiving error log.
Promote and maintain 5S standards across all warehouse, dock, and storage areas to ensure safety and organization.
Required Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
5‑7 years of supply chain, material, operations, or logistics experience.
3‑5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with standard computer applications and warehouse management tools.
