Overview

We are seeking an

Application Support Analyst

to join our IT team supporting the

Metals and Energy business . This will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application operations. The role requires diligence in maintaining technical documentation and the willingness to participate in knowledge sharing to maximize team understanding and efficiency.
You will play a key role in

maintaining application stability, improving processes, supporting system releases, and assisting users across the trading environment.
Responsibilities

Provide technical support for trading applications including trade capture, market data, risk, and settlement systems
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in real-time to minimize trading disruptions
Monitor applications and batch processes to ensure optimal performance
Manage incident tickets and maintain technical documentation
Support electronic trading systems, user access management, and trading platform connectivity
Provide production support for market data platforms and vendor systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
Assist with system upgrades, releases, and testing activities
Collaborate with IT Development and business teams to improve and automate processes
Qualifications

At least 3+ years of experience in application or technical support, preferably within financial services or trading environments
Proficiency in SQL (Oracle or MS SQL Server), scripting languages (PowerShell or Python), and Windows infrastructure
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Familiarity with trading systems (Openlink, FIX, Trayport, TT) is beneficial but not required
