Role Overview
As a Part‑Time Display Installer in Williamsburg, VA, you will complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays for global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
Responsibilities
Visit stores to complete display installation projects.
Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays.
Represent global clients across major retail locations.
Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
Work up to 20 hours per week, Monday‑Thursday 8:00 am–6:00 pm; no weekends or evenings.
Opportunity to cover larger regions or travel for additional hours.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage of $17.00 for general merchandising projects.
Higher rates for additional technical projects.
W2 employment with bi‑weekly pay and direct deposit.
Optional 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.
Travel reimbursement for store‑to‑store drive time and mileage assistance.
Paid training time provided.
Accrue PTO hours each week worked.
Qualifications
Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience desirable.
Capable of handling all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions and display diagrams. Independent worker who can collaborate with a small team when needed.
Tech‑ready: Internet access, Wi‑Fi/GPS‑enabled smart device with latest OS update, laptop/desktop access, and basic hand‑held tools.
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required for travel to stores.
Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
