Litigation Attorney
Boutique civil litigation firm in the Upper Kirby area is seeking a motivated associate attorney with 3-8 years of litigation experience. Contract attorneys will be considered.
The Firm represents individuals, corporations, estates, trusts, governmental entities, and other organizations in a wide range of matters, including but not limited to breach of contract claims, employment disputes, property disputes, public affairs litigation, and internal investigations.
The litigation associate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
Conducting legal research and analysis of claims and case strategy
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
Representing clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
The successful candidate must have:
3-8 years of experience as an attorney
Experience in drafting and arguing dispositive motions
Exceptional research and writing skills
Willingness and ability to work on a multitude of cases, including novel legal issues
License to practice law in the State of Texas
Federal and state trial experience is also preferred.
Salary is dependent on experience and the Firm offers excellent benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k).
