Position Summary
JorgensenFM is currently seeking a
full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician
with five-plus years of experience in a commercial environment with a focus on customer service, exceptional technical skills, and an aptitude for facilities maintenance. This position is a hands-on technician position responsible for maintaining tolling plazas/gantries and DOT offices. Conducting work to ensure the safety of themselves and the traveling public. We will provide a company vehicle, all necessary tools, and training for the right individual. The locations covered will be assigned by your supervisor in

Experience And Skills Required
Generators - maintenance, repair and emergency service
Electrical - minor repairs and troubleshooting including light fixtures, ballasts, outlets, switches, and breakers
Familiarity with UPS and fire / life / safety systems
Roofing - maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting
Plumbing - minor restroom repair of toilets, sinks, and fixtures
General Building - doors & hardware, furniture & hardware, bulletin boards, etc.
HVAC / CRAC Units - EPA Certified, preventative and corrective maintenance, system monitoring, installations as needed. Air-cooled water chiller knowledge a plus
Troubleshooting - diagnosing problems, taking meter readings, referring to manufacturer specifications
Computer Skills - email, scheduling, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Oversight of subcontractors as needed
Ability to work outdoors
Self-starter
Customer interface (communications, problem-solving, work prioritization & scheduling)
English language required (Bilingual preferred)
Schedule
Full time; Day shift, Monday through Friday. Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
Salary
Based on experience, plus benefits.
