Payroll Administrator

The ideal candidate will have construction industry experience, at least three years of certified payroll experience and have experience with the software Viewpoint. Key Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll for union and non‑union employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Manage certified payroll reporting in compliance with prevailing wage, Davis‑Bacon, and other governing regulations.
Validate timecards, job costing codes, deductions, and wage tables.
Maintain employee payroll records, benefits deductions, garnishments, and multi‑state tax requirements.
Prepare payroll‑related reports for management, auditors, and government agencies.
Collaborate with HR, project managers, and field supervisors on payroll discrepancies.
Participate in internal and external payroll compliance audits.
Qualifications
3+ years of payroll experience, preferably within a
construction, trades, or general contracting
environment.
Strong understanding of certified payroll, prevailing wage requirements, and union agreements.
Proficiency in Vista Viewpoint is a plus.
High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage high‑volume payroll and strict deadlines.Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
