We support sponsorship strategy, partnership management, experiential marketing, and corporate hospitality for clients across professional sports and major events, including NFL programming, Premier League activations, and national conferences.
The Role
We are hiring a Sports Sponsorship and Events Intern to support live client work across sponsorship, events, and operations. This is a hands-on role with real responsibilities from day one.
You will work directly on client deliverables, join internal and client calls, and contribute to active projects across multiple accounts.
This role is intended for juniors, seniors, or graduate students seeking applied experience in sports marketing and event management.
What You'll Do
Research & Intelligence
Source and evaluate vendors, venues, and partners for client activations
Build competitor benchmarks, audience profiles, and platform trend reports
Deliver findings in structured formats ready for client presentation
Client Operations
Own a specific workstream on at least one active client account
Join one client call per week and distribute internal recaps with action items
Track budgets, receipt logs, and deliverable timelines in shared project management tools
Sponsorship & Strategy
Support sponsorship valuation research and competitive landscape analysis
Assist with partnership asset management and client fulfillment tracking
Build sponsorship decks, briefing documents, and activation summaries for client presentations
Events & Experiential
Host and support sourcing and logistics for client events, hospitality, and activations
Coordinate vendors, materials, and on-site communications
Assist with post-event reporting and debrief documentation
What You'll Learn
Interns participate in structured learning sessions led by senior team members. Topics include sponsorship strategy, event production, hospitality operations, marketing tools, and case studies from live client work.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
Junior, senior, or graduate student in sports management, marketing, communications, business, or related field
Strong writing skills for emails, briefs, recaps, presentations, and client deliverables
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Interest in sports, entertainment, or brand marketing
Proactive communicator who takes ownership without waiting to be asked
Ability to work on weekends and holidays as needed to cover in-person events
Strong differentiators:
Experience in events, hospitality, or live sports environments
Spanish language skills
Exposure to sponsorship, brand partnerships, or marketing strategy
Familiarity with paid media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok)
Position Details
Commitment: Up to 25 hours/week (two full days + 4 hrs for calls and projects)
Flexible scheduling for class conflicts
Hybrid: remote-first with occasional in-person requirements for events and activations
Preferred applicants based in the Greater New York City area
$16/hr Paid Internship
