Job Description
Providing Identity and Account Management (IAM) services for staff and public users, performing 1st and 2nd Tier computer support for internal staff, deploying and managing computers for staff, and overseeing application services for the Divisions of Unemployment Insurance and Employment Training. Responsibilities include verifying caller identity, resetting or unlocking accounts, guiding callers to self‑service recovery, escalating to other call centers when necessary, documenting details, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing computer devices, fulfilling software service requests, leveraging security tools, and using web‑based telephony and device management systems.
This role requires onsite presence at GEF1, downtown Madison, 1–2 days per week, with onsite training Monday–Friday for the first two weeks.
Required Skills
Experience providing IT support in a professional setting
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience providing Identity management administration
Nice to Have Skills
Experience working with a web-based telephony system
Experience verifying confidential account credentials
Experience working with conference room technology
