Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Nursing Home Attorney to join its practice in Miami, Florida. The attorney will manage a complex caseload involving pre-litigation, litigation, trial preparation, and trial proceedings.
Duties
Handle pre-litigation and litigation cases daily.
Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
Guide clients through the case process.
Interact with expert witnesses and draft expert reports.
Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Requirements
Law degree from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
Minimum 4+ years of personal injury experience, preferably in medical malpractice or nursing home matters.
Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
Education
Law degree from an accredited institution.
Certifications
Active membership with the FL State Bar Association.
