
Litigation Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a well-established boutique law firm based in Glendale, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong litigation foundation who is looking to grow within a collaborative environment handling a broad range of general civil litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, memoranda, and other legal documents
Manage litigation matters from inception through trial
Conduct and defend depositions, attend mediations, and participate in settlement negotiations
Provide strategic legal advice to clients on pre-litigation and active litigation matters
Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
Handle additional assignments and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience in California state courts
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to manage cases independently while working effectively within a team
Highly motivated with a commitment to achieving excellent results
Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
Highly competitive base salary - $145,000 - $165,000
