This position may be based in one of our Northern Virginia office locations, with the understanding that a significant portion of the work will be connected to our Leesburg office.

Responsibilities
Represent clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters in Virginia state court
Handle all aspects of civil litigation from inception through resolution
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery
Develop case strategies through legal research and analysis
Regularly appear in court and participate in hearings, motions, depositions, and trials
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to client service
Meet billable hour expectations in line with firm standards

Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, in good standing
Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience required
Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently
Strong analytical, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
