Job Overview
The primary role of Supervisor - Administrator of Enterprise Business Info systems is to oversee system administrators and technical resources who are responsible for implementing new interfaces, solutions, product upgrade support, production support and upgrades or new releases related to systems such as PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain, HR/Payroll applications and other enterprise business applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead or manage projects related to system maintenances, security patch updates, upgrades.
Supervise IT resources.
Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders and supervise their work.
Understand system architecture related to databases, cloud applications hosted on OCI, Google Cloud or AWS.
Meet or exceed stakeholder expectations, orchestrate disaster recovery planning and maintain SLAs.
Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Assist in planning and design of the creation and retirement of application platforms and perform routine monitoring against all web & application server components.
Accept customer needs to reprioritize projects or tasks.
Build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
Experience in the health care industry is helpful; required travel to affiliates within health care system.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred but not required.
10+ years of experience leading or managing projects related to system maintenance.
5+ years of experience as a supervisor or manager of related IT resources.
Proficiency with system architecture, cloud environments (OCI, Google Cloud, AWS).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications related to system administration, architecture or cloud.
Other Job Functions
Assist in performance and tuning efforts; coordinate with infrastructure team.
Support audit requirements.
Maintain development and testing standards.
Provide backup support functions as security administrator.
Debug production critical problems for development team.
Use continuous quality improvement principles to assess and improve departmental functions.
Mentor and onboard new employees.
Maintain customer satisfaction surveys.
Support and deliver projects on time & budget.
Oversee incident tracking system, maintain knowledge base, prioritize root-cause analysis.
Manage projects, write specifications, develop project plans, run meetings, write status reports.
Report project status, problems, projections to management.
