Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support our Ambulatory Surgery Center's clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves both direct patient interaction and essential back-office responsibilities to ensure smooth surgical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Follow up on pre-operative orders to ensure all required tests, clearances, and documentation are completed prior to procedures
Conduct post-operative follow-up calls to assess patient recovery, address concerns, and communicate updates to providers
Clean, sterilize, and pack surgical instruments and supplies in accordance with infection control standards
Maintain inventory and order surgical and medical supplies as needed
Assist with patient preparation and documentation as directed by clinical staff
Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Current and active LVN license
Previous experience in a surgical or outpatient setting preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment: This position is based in a clinical setting with a combination of patient-facing duties and administrative support tasks.
Schedule: Per diem position with a flexible schedule, available Monday through Friday; no weekends or holidays required.
