Job Description
A new acute care hospital opening in 2026 in Gainesville, FL is seeking a
Physical Therapist (PT)
to join its growing rehabilitation team.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a
new facility launch , working across acute care and a dedicated inpatient rehab unit to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based therapy to restore mobility and function
Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed
Document patient outcomes accurately and efficiently
Educate patients and families on exercises and recovery plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Support safe patient transitions across care settings
Mentor therapy assistants or students as needed
Qualifications
Required
Licensed Physical Therapist (or eligible) in Florida
BLS certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred
1+ year of Physical Therapy experience (acute care or inpatient rehab)
Note: New graduates will be considered.
