Position Overview
Full time position located at 38850 Navicent Health Medical Center – School Nursing Program.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM. Must hold LPN or RN license.
Hours per week: 40. Pay range: $25.30 to $37.95 per hour.
Major Responsibilities
Administers OTC and prescription medications.
Provides basic first aid.
Conducts CPR training for staff.
Manages healthcare needs such as asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy.
Develops and maintains relationships with parents and stakeholders within the schools.
Documents in Power School and keeps medical information updated.
Reviews and updates immunization and health records.
Licensure, Registration, & Certification Required
Current RN licensure in the state where the teammate practices.
Education Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nurses.
Experience
None required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination. Must be able to stand and walk for extensive periods and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols with vision and hearing within normal range to respond to code alerts and equipment alarms. Works under stress due to volume and time constraints with irregular working hours.
