Recreation/Expressive Therapist
Peachford Hospital is searching for an experienced Recreational Therapist to work on our Expressive Therapy Team.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement expressive therapy treatment plans that are age appropriate and consistent with overall treatment goals.
Maintain the clinical and administrative documentation associated with performed services.
Progress notes should be accurate, timely and legible.
Effectively contribute to discharge planning of patients.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in an activity therapy related field (e.g., recreation therapy, art therapy, music therapy) is required. A certification such as CTRS, ATR or RMT, along with previous inpatient/outpatient hospital experience, is preferred.
