7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (based on site needs)

The Phlebotomist I is responsible for performing blood draws, specimen collection, and basic lab support duties in a patient service center (PSC) environment. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work in a high-volume setting while ensuring patient comfort and specimen integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients
Complete 30-50 draws per day in a fast-paced environment
Conduct specimen labeling, handling, and processing accurately
Perform patient rounds and assist with specimen collection workflow
Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate patient identification
Stock and replenish phlebotomy and lab supplies
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control guidelines
Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1+ year of phlebotomy experience required
At least 2 years of blood draw experience preferred
Experience in high-volume environments (30-50 draws/day)
Strong venipuncture skills and patient interaction experience
Ability to stand for extended periods (most of the shift)
Comfortable working in a Patient Service Center (PSC) setting
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Work Environment

On feet most of the day
Fast-paced, high-volume workload
May work independently or with a small team
Floating required between multiple nearby locations
Training
1 week system training
Followed by hands‑on training
