Project Implementation Analyst

Under the direction of the Child Welfare Workforce Innovations Project Manager, the Northern Academy Project Implementation Analyst serves as a project and program implementation professional responsible for coordinating and managing complex training delivery and workforce development initiatives serving 28 Northern California counties. The position applies project management, adult learning, and program implementation principles to support the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of Northern Academy training, instructional delivery, and learning development initiatives and contract deliverables.

The Project Implementation Analyst independently manages and coordinates multiple project components related to training development and delivery, including the design, development, implementation, and ongoing coordination of curriculum and instructional activities. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, workflows, tracking systems, timelines, and communication structures that support training delivery, instructor readiness, coaching, and technical assistance. The incumbent monitors training implementation and delivery outcomes, analyzes participation and learning data, identifies risks or gaps in delivery or learner engagement, and develops and implements solutions to ensure training initiatives are delivered effectively, on schedule, and aligned with program goals, learning objectives, and contract requirements.

This role conducts needs assessments and analyzes training and program data to support continuous improvement of training delivery and learning effectiveness. The Analyst identifies trends, recommends improvements to instructional delivery methods, learner engagement strategies, and training supports, and coordinates updates in collaboration with instructional designers, subject matter experts, instructors, and program staff. The position ensures alignment between training delivery practices, learning objectives, and program outcomes across initiatives.

The position also provides guidance to staff on training delivery processes, project coordination practices, and learning program workflows, and supports the development of standardized procedures, tools, and systems to improve consistency, efficiency, communication, and the overall effectiveness of training delivery across Northern Academy initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training

Experience independently coordinating complex projects or educational program activities, including defining goals, supporting strategic planning, managing timelines, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders; and experience using or implementing project management software and relational databases (e.g., Airtable) to track program activities, milestones, and outcomes

Experience delivering procedural or technical training, developing documentation, and providing guidance and support to program staff, instructors, or clients in the use of systems, workflows, and educational program processes.

Experience gathering and documenting workflow or program requirements from multiple stakeholders, conducting analysis, and using strong analytical, problem solving, and judgment skills to independently develop, recommend, and implement solutions to complex project or program issues while managing competing priorities.

Thorough analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills to evaluate program needs, analyze data from multiple sources, identify trends or risks, and recommend improvements while independently managing multiple assignments and maintaining accurate program documentation.

Working knowledge of data tracking systems, dashboards, reporting tools, and project coordination platforms, with the ability to use business software systems to support program planning, monitor instructional or project milestones, and contribute to curriculum or program improvement efforts.

Thorough and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders, present information clearly in meetings and trainings, and collaborate in a professional, solution oriented manner on educational program initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a data management system such as Smartsheet Airtable. Experience using Tableau, or another Data Visualization application.

Experience using Destiny One student management software. Experience in quality assurance, user acceptance testing and monitoring of key performance indicators as part of project implementation and change management.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across organizational levels to support collaboration and coordination,

Ability to translate complex technical information, and data-related concepts into clear, accessible language for individuals with varying levels of technical expertise.

Demonstrate active listening skills and the ability to gather, clarify, and synthesize input to inform project implementation and decision-making.

Ability to exercise sound judgment, and professionalism when navigating differing perspectives, priorities, or constraints.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
