The Role
This is a remote-first position for candidates located in Washington State with 5+ years of family law paralegal experience, including substantial experience working in King County and/or Pierce County family law courts. While we provide training on our internal systems and workflows, this role is intended for someone who can step in with strong substantive family law knowledge from day one.
This role is well suited for a paralegal who works independently, anticipates next steps in active matters, and is comfortable managing deadlines and filings across multiple cases with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Do
Support attorneys on family law matters from intake through resolution, including drafting pleadings, declarations, discovery, motions, and settlement documents; managing case files and deadlines; coordinating filings in King and Pierce County courts; and communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Experience with parenting plans, child support, spousal maintenance, domestic violence protection orders, and property division matters is required.
