Our internship program offers practical corporate work experience that could lead to full-time work after graduation. We are seeking students going into their senior year, graduating in the spring of 2027.
The shift is from 9 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week, starting in June and ending in August. This is a hybrid position in Newton, MA that pays $20 per hour.
This internship is designed for undergraduate or graduate students with an established or emerging interest in learning how organizations manage risk, meet regulatory requirements, and support strong governance in a real-world business environment. The intern will work alongside professionals across LRC functions and contribute to a variety of projects and day-to-day activities.
This internship provides hands‑on experience across LRC functions, with the opportunity to build foundational professional skills through meaningful work and mentorship in a regulated financial services organization.
Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support LRC functions and programs across the organization
Assist with compliance and risk management activities, including documentation review, evidence organization, and issue tracking
Help maintain policies, procedures, and program documentation
Support risk assessments, control activities, audit preparation, and regulatory readiness efforts
Assist with governance activities such as meeting materials and action item tracking
Conduct research on regulatory requirements, new regulations and industry best practices
Contribute to compliance programs such as KYC, privacy, ethics, vendor risk, or similar initiatives as part of a balanced LRC workload
Handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
Demonstrate interest in business, finance, risk management, compliance, legal studies, and/or related fields
Bring critical thinking skills and thorough attention to detail
Possess strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Learning Objectives
Gain exposure to all Legal, Risk & Compliance functions within a regulated financial services organization
Apply academic knowledge to real-world business, regulatory, and risk management challenges
Develop foundational professional skills in analysis, documentation, communication, and teamwork
Understand how policies, controls, and governance processes support business operations
