Overview
Murrieta Primary Care Clinic Seeks a Bilingual (not required) Medical Assistant to work in our office located in Murrieta, CA. Candidate will support the Health Care Provider by taking vitals, assisting in medical examinations and all duties that relate to being a Medical Assistant. Also experience in Chronic Care Management is desired.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for consult and assist Doctor with the examination and/or procedure
Takes patient vital signs and obtains patient intake information; Enter vitals to EMR
Performs clinical procedures such as blood draws, vaccines, nebulizer treatments, ear lavages, or EKGs.
Perform laboratory and screening tests performed in a medical office such as visual acuity, audiometric screening, Snellen tests, spirometry tests.
Effectively communicates with patient to determine their needs and provides education and resources.
Ensures exam rooms are stocked, cleaned and set up for examinations and procedures as directed by the Doctor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
4 years in a fast paced clinical office environment
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical laboratory procedures and healthcare operations and workflow.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience in using EMR System
Experience in Chronic Care Management
