Veterinary Technician – Cardiology (Licensed)
Full‑time, Lynnwood, WA.
Projected schedule: Wednesday–Saturday 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
Support veterinarians to ensure high‑quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians.
Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
Assist in maintaining comprehensive medical records.
Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Qualifications
Veterinary technician license required.
1–2 years of clinical experience (cardiology experience is a bonus).
Must have anesthesia experience.
Strong interest in echocardiograms, EKGs, thoracic radiographs, Holter monitor placement, genetic and acquired cardiac disease, and interventional medicine.
