
Inventory Intern

Position Summary
The Inventory Intern supports inventory control and material management activities in the Toolroom. This role provides hands-on exposure to cycle counts, the SAP business system, and organization of component staging and storage. The intern will assist with inventory accuracy, documentation, and material handling while learning best practices in inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inventory counts of mold components and related tooling items to ensure accuracy and traceability
Enter, update, and maintain inventory records in SAP, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation
Verify packing list accuracy for incoming kits by matching received materials against shipping and system records
Bin and store supplies and components in designated locations following established storage and labeling procedures
Assist with identifying discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items and report findings to inventory or tool room personnel
Support general inventory audits, cycle counts, and housekeeping activities as needed
Required Qualifications
Basic computer skills with the ability to learn SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow written work instructions and standard procedures
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
Ability to lift and move components or supplies (within safety guidelines) up to 10 lbs
Work performed in a manufacturing or tool room environment
