Role Description
This is a full-time, based in Chicago. Reporting to the CFO, The Financial Controller will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage accounting operations, and provide strategic financial insights. The role will involve financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support informed decision-making and financial growth.
Qualifications
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
Suit a Manager level person out of Big 4 Accounting Firm
Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
In-depth knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles and practices
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification such as CPA (preferred)
Knowledge of relevant accounting software and ERP systems
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial insights effectively.
