Your Mission:
Entry-level position performing basic welding, fitting, and fabrication tasks under close supervision. Learns to interpret blueprints, set up equipment, and complete assigned tasks safely and accurately.
Works with steel, aluminum, and stainless‑steel components.
Explore the Depth of the Role:
Perform basic welding and fitting tasks using FCAW (Fluxcore), GMAW (MIG), TIG, Stick, Pulse, and Spray transfer techniques.
Read and follow basic blueprints and weld symbols.
Assist in assembly, grinding, straightening, beveling, bracing, and finishing fabricated parts.
Perform flame cutting and pre‑and‑tack welding as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Requirements
Mission Readiness:
Basic welding and fitting skills with Fluxcore, Pulse, and Spray transfer MIG welding.
Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and lifting equipment.
Basic understanding of shop math and welding symbols.
Industrious, reliable, and able to focus on tasks until completion.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
6 months to 1 year of welding or fabrication experience preferred
Travel Requirements:
Between facilities as needed.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
