Summary
Performs a variety of advanced accounting duties according to established credit union policies and procedures.
Education And/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar required
Three plus years of advanced accounting experience required
Job Responsibilities
Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded
Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger
Prepares complex balance sheets, income statements and other financial reports
Maintains investment accounting system and related reporting
Responsible for overall accuracy of certain general ledger accounts and operational processes
Prepares and/or reviews financial reports for management
Acts as the primary contact with secondary loan partners. Investigates discrepancies and records/reconciles purchased loan portfolios and related transactions to the general ledger.
May assume a team lead role for the work group
Primary lead for preparation of regulatory reports including 5300 Call Report, FR2900 Report, 945 Tax return, sales taxes, and other financial reports
Recommends process improvements
Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses
Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
