
Survey Group Manager - Orlando

ELEMENT Engineering Group is currently seeking a Survey Group Manager in our growing Orlando office who is an experienced, motivated survey professional who can manage and oversee a wide range of survey projects. In this role, you’ll work with dynamic teams both in the office and in the field while collaborating directly with clients to deliver exceptional results. You'll manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while playing a key role in maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have land surveying experience, with a strong working knowledge of land surveys and preferably experience with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

Required Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with industry peers for operational purposes.
Oversee survey projects and/or direct preparation of all types of surveys.
Provide guidance and direction to office staff and field crew(s).
Collaborate weekly resource needs with others on the management team.
Consult with clients and maintain strong client relationships.
Maintain monthly project invoicing.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Adhere to safety protocol.
Manage and coordinate projects with multiple team members.
Required Qualifications
Registered Professional Land Surveyor in FL.
AAS or BS Degree in Surveying preferred.
A successful track record of building client relationships in the surveying and related mapping industry.
Strong team-building skills and experience leading a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of processing of raw (field) survey data, including digital levels, GNSS, robotic total stations, terrestrial and/or mobile LiDAR, UAS data processing a plus
Knowledge of CADD software, Microstation, and AutoCAD software is a plus.
