Responsibilities
This role offers a meaningful opportunity for professional growth. Based on experience, the incumbent will take on appropriate responsibility for drafting basic estate planning documents, probate filings, trust administration, funding, and related materials. Additional responsibilities include preparing and filing court documents, conducting asset inventories, and communicating with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions. The role also maintains records, conducts research, and prepares and organizes documents and correspondence, along with other tasks as assigned.
Substantive work is billable, with a 1,400-hour annual target.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, with 2-5 years of directly related Trusts & Estate Planning paralegal experience required. Paralegal certification strongly preferred. Working knowledge of legal terminology, state probate rules, and federal estate tax regulations required. Strong computer skills are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (including e-filing platforms). EEO
