Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning and administration and a commitment to delivering thoughtful, practical solutions tailored to clients’ long-term personal, family, and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and implement estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related instruments
Advise clients on sophisticated wealth transfer strategies, including tax-efficient gifting, business succession planning, and generation-skipping transfer planning
Handle estate and trust administration matters, including probate proceedings, trust administration, fiduciary advising, and beneficiary representation
Counsel trustees, personal representatives, and beneficiaries regarding fiduciary duties and compliance
Coordinate planning with corporate, tax, real estate, and litigation attorneys to provide integrated client solutions
Maintain ongoing client relationships and provide proactive legal guidance as circumstances and laws evolve
Stay current on developments in federal and Florida trust, estate, and tax law
Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
2–7 years of experience practicing in trusts and estates, estate planning, or estate and trust administration
Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar (required)
Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach
LL.M. in Taxation or advanced estate planning experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to manage multiple matters independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
