Institutional Client Associate
Job Description
The Institutional Client Associate partners closely with Relationship Managers, Sales, Operations, and the trading desk across global offices to deliver a consistently high standard of service to a diverse institutional client base. This role requires strong operational knowledge, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage time-sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism while supporting the full lifecycle of client relationships, reporting, and operational activities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the timely and accurate fulfillment of client requests, including reporting, information requests, and operational inquiries.
Produce, review, and deliver monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc client reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
Maintain and enhance team policies and procedures to support efficient and scalable client service delivery.
Partner with the trading desk to manage client cash flows, including subscriptions, redemptions, and rebalancing activities.
Track, document, and clearly communicate client trade requests to relevant internal stakeholders.
Collaborate on projects with other Client Associates and senior team members to improve processes, enhance reporting, and drive better client outcomes.
Review, process, and track invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain and reconcile account and contact data across internal systems to ensure consistent and reliable information.
Perform regular data updates and verification to ensure data accuracy and integrity across platforms.
Provide administrative support to the client service team, including preparing materials, organizing information, and supporting day-to-day client service activities.
Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
Essential Skills

Minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a similar role or within a related industry.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and manage reports and presentations.
Experience using Salesforce to manage client, account, and contact data.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, especially reporting and data management.
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when handling time-sensitive and confidential matters.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and clients.
Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality administrative and operational support in a client-focused environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Background in finance, investments, or business operations that supports understanding of institutional client needs.
Experience in a client-facing or client-support role within financial services or a similar industry.
Familiarity with institutional reporting requirements and cash flow processes such as subscriptions, redemptions, and rebalancing.
Ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives and help refine policies and procedures.
Comfort working with data across multiple systems and reconciling information to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
