You do the same at work, ensuring everyone, even your boss, follows through. This role is for the next generation of leaders at Domino’s Pizza, specifically as an assistant manager. The position requires judgment, math skills, and the ability to multitask.
Job Requirements and Duties
You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
You must set the example and follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from your crew.
In addition to above, you will handle staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash management, food management, scheduling, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards, delivering great customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, facilitating transportation to/from work, cleaning the store, executing marketing initiatives, and driving profitability.
Qualifications
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
Make correct monetary change.
Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to rapidly and accurately move food items with speed.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Understand and provide correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers, both over the phone and in person.
Training
Orientation and training are provided on the job.
Communication Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions and Skills
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, you will perform core shop operations, maintain equipment, and adhere to company standards.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes may occur. Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust are common. Work is performed in cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers and near hot surfaces and tools up to 500 degrees. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts are present.
Physical Requirements
Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position.
Walking: for short distances and durations.
Lifting: bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more, unloading using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Carrying: large cans weighing around 3 pounds may be carried to storage, and pizza sauce may weigh up to 30 pounds.
Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, weighing about 12 pounds per tray.
