Security Systems Lead Technician / Project Lead
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Lead Technician / Project Lead to support the installation, configuration, and commissioning of enterprise‑level electronic security systems. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician who can also provide onsite leadership, project oversight, and strong customer interaction.
Top Skills & Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP‑based video, and intrusion systems
Minimum 3 years of experience as a project lead, responsible for jobsite supervision and coordination
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to support customer systems remotely using professional diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
Practical, working knowledge of IP networking
Ability to work independently when assigned tasks on a project
Job Responsibilities
Perform installation, termination, configuration, and testing of enterprise security systems with minimal supervision
Work within a team environment on new construction and retrofit installations
Systems include access control, CCTV, IP cameras, intrusion systems, video analytics, and visitor management platforms
Organize and manage workload efficiently to meet project timelines
Interact professionally with customers and provide general supervision on projects
Manage quality control, ensuring installations meet company and customer standards
Deliver exceptional customer service
Track project progress and report updates as required
Secondary Skills (Nice to Haves)
Service and maintenance experience
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Experience supporting live customer environments
Preferred Certifications / Platform Experience (Not Required)
Training and certification support available for the right candidate.
