
Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented
Payroll Specialist
to manage payroll operations, time tracking, tax compliance, and employee support across a large workforce. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Process
US bi-weekly payroll
in SAP accurately and on time
Monitor and manage
time & attendance module , resolving employee timesheet issues
Maintain employee payroll data including
new hires, terminations, and changes
Ensure compliance with
federal, state, and local tax regulations
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, including prior pay cycles and adjustments
Manage
garnishments, legal inquiries, and audit requests
Execute payroll post-processing activities including:
GL postings
Third-party payments and garnishments
Retirement and interface data processing
Handle
prior quarter wage and tax adjustments
Manage payroll-related cases via
ServiceNow
Provide strong
customer support
while maintaining confidentiality of employee data
Ensure adherence to company payroll policies and procedures
Scope & Stakeholders
Support payroll operations for
1,000+ employees
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including:
Legal
Employee Relations (ER)
HR Business Partners (HRBP)
Total Rewards
IS/IT Teams
Required Qualifications
Experience in
payroll processing (US payroll preferred)
Strong knowledge of
payroll taxation, compliance, and regulations
Hands-on experience with
HRIS systems (SAP HRP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow)
Strong attention to detail and
reconciliation skills
