Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Hershey, PA
Type: Contract (3-6 months)
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 40.0
Responsibilities
Manage payroll & time module, employee tax profile updates, compliance reporting, and ServiceNow case management to ensure consistent payroll support across regions
Process US bi-weekly payroll in SAP accurately and on time
Monitor the time module closely and resolve timesheet queries from employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
Perform data entry for new hires, terminations, and employee changes
Research variances regarding past pay cycles, update garnishment documentation, and respond to legal inquiries and audit questions
Ensure successful processing of post-transaction interface jobs—posting to SAP finance module (GL, third-party payments, garnishments), direct deposit files, retirement, and other data interfaces
Provide excellent customer service focused on employee support and confidentiality of personal data
Process prior quarter wage and tax adjustments
Implement and adhere to all payroll policies and procedures to ensure consistent compliance
Requirements
Experience managing payroll and time modules, with knowledge of SAP, HRIS systems (SAP HRP, SF, ServiceNow)
Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
Demonstrated knowledge of garnishments, taxation, and regulations for US & CA (preferred)
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience and certifications
Ability to manage high-volume payroll processing for 1,000+ employees
