Phoenix, AZ . The candidate will require strong hands‑on expertise in UI and API automation with AI‑assisted test generation to enable end‑to‑end customer journey validation and fully automated execution and reporting.
Rate Range:
$45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities
Design and build a scalable, reusable automation framework supporting both UI and API testing across microservices and distributed systems.
Implement AI/agent‑based workflows where test scripts are generated, maintained, and optimized by AI with minimal manual intervention.
Develop automation that validates end‑to‑end customer journeys, covering real‑world scenarios beyond happy‑path testing.
Integrate automated test execution and reporting with JIRA and CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous validation and traceability to user stories.
Continuously improve test coverage through intelligent test generation, self‑healing automation, and AI‑assisted development tools.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to align automated testing strategies with business outcomes and user experience goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience in test automation, with strong hands‑on expertise in both UI and API automation frameworks.
Proven experience designing AI‑driven or agent‑based automation frameworks, with familiarity using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Prior experience working in a large enterprise or regulated environment.
Pay Details
$45.00 to $47.00 per hour.
