Maintenance Technician
Olen Living is seeking a skilled and motivated, full‑time Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community in Delray Beach, FL (Delray Bay). The role ensures overall satisfaction and well‑being of residents by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing items such as plumbing, electrical, appliances, and air conditioning.
Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for occupancy and help with apartment turnovers.
Participate in community maintenance duties, including building maintenance, preventative maintenance, service request completion, groundskeeping, and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
Effective communication skills, able to interact positively with residents, vendors, and co‑workers.
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
Capable of frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license.
Must provide and use personal hand tools unless otherwise specified by the property.
Effective problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
Strong attention to detail and a team‑player attitude.
Ability to respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour; full‑time (8‑hour shift, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime).
