Shipping Coordinator

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for executing daily shipping activities, organizing outbound freight, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all logistics operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy parts, and experience operating a forklift in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily outbound shipments (LTL, freight, parcel, customer pickups).
Prepare, package, and stage orders for shipment.
Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload heavy parts.
Verify accuracy of shipping documents, labels, and packing lists.
Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments.
Maintain shipping logs, inventory records, and shipment tracking.
Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications
1-3 years of shipping or logistics coordination experience.
Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts.
Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to company‑required limits).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
