
Staff Accountant

Job Description
The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the company's day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations under USGAAP.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post routine and adjusting journal entries to the general ledger.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and payroll accounts on a monthly basis.
Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
Assist with payroll tax related functions and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Collaborate with team members, including outsourced accounting partners in India.
Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Assist with audits and provide documentation as requested.
Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on accounting experience.
Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with accounting software. Experience with SAP is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401(k) contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $75,000-$95,000.
