JOB SUMMARY
The Recruiter is responsible for executing talent acquisition strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent in alignment with the organization's goals. This role collaborates with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment plans, build candidate pipelines, and ensure a seamless hiring experience. The Recruiter leverages sourcing expertise, technology, and relationship-building skills to fill open positions efficiently while fostering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops and executes effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent, including passive candidates.
Builds strong relationships with hiring managers and provides guidance throughout the recruitment process.
Establishes rapport with internal and external candidates.
Creates and manages requisitions and tracks progress throughout the hiring process.
Posts and refreshes job advertisements on platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and the organization's career site.
Screens applicants and conducts phone, video, and in-person interviews.
Coordinates interview schedules and ensures a positive candidate experience.
Negotiates job offers balancing organizational and candidate needs.
Provides onboarding support including background checks, drug screening, and documentation.
Communicates benefits, job expectations, and other relevant information prior to start date.
Maintains accurate candidate data in applicant tracking systems.
Delivers rejection communications professionally.
Collaborates with hiring managers and leadership on recruitment strategies.
Advices hiring managers on selection decisions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2–4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience required
Healthcare or corporate recruiting experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Expertise in sourcing and recruiting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with ATS, LinkedIn, and recruitment tools
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices
Problem-solving and negotiation skills
Commitment to excellent candidate and hiring manager experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
