Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Diesel Technician, located in Baton Rouge, LA. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and handling maintenance and repair tasks on diesel‑powered vehicles. The role also involves collaborating with team members and providing excellent customer service to meet client needs and ensure the timely and effective completion of work.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair
Expertise in Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
Customer Service orientation and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Relevant certifications in diesel technology or a related field are a plus
Previous experience working on heavy‑duty trucks, Hino, Isuzu, or Volvo vehicles is advantageous
High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections and repairs
