Position is weekends, Friday - Monday. 4 x 10 hour shifts. Inpatient Rehab.
Additional $6.25/hr differential on top of the base rate for all hours worked.
Weekend Charge option available – an additional $2.50/hr differential.
Job Summary
Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Guided by our mission to care for and improve human life, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each patient’s unique goals and capabilities.
Responsibilities
Evaluate each patient’s functional abilities and needs, then develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.
Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions that promote healing, independence, and quality of life through purposeful, compassionate care.
Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure thorough, timely documentation reflecting quality outcomes.
Educate patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement throughout recovery and beyond.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences.
Lead by example—provide guidance to therapy assistants or students and uphold HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
Maintain current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Maintain active Occupational Therapy Certification in the State of Colorado.
Maintain current certification in BLS for Health Care Providers (American Heart Association guidelines).
Successful completion of a student clinical rotation or work experience in at least one of the following settings: acute care hospital, long‑term acute care facility, skilled nursing facility, or acute rehabilitation setting.
Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
Bachelor’s degree and eligibility to practice as an (OTR) or (OT).
