Overview
RN Supervisor – Long-Term Care (Evenings) in Waterloo, NY. This travel, temporary assignment begins 05/19/2026 for 14 weeks with a weekly pay range of $2,008 to $2,049. Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing – LTC, oversee nursing unit operations and provide clinical supervision to staff on assigned units.

Ensure quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts.

Communicate with the Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager to identify and address unit problems; collaborate on solutions and document handovers for off‑shift issues.

Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and Administrator – LTC (off‑shift/weekends) within defined scope.

Collaborate effectively with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, and patients/residents in a professional, courteous manner.

Demonstrate leadership, manage multiple priorities, and model teamwork under pressure; maintain familiarity with NYSDOH requirements.

Requirements

License: Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure (RN).

Certifications: BLS required through AHA or RQI system; CPI obtained within 90 days of hire.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long‑term care with supervisory experience across multiple units.

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.

Additional: Ability to collaborate with medical staff and operate within NYSDOH requirements; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; computer literacy.
