BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Community Psychiatric Institute has been a dedicated and committed leader in Behavioral Healthcare and Substance Abuse treatment in Essex County for over 52 years. We currently have an opening for a Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team in our Partial Care Program.
Responsibilities
Provide supportive group and individual counseling in our outpatient setting. Perform timely records documentation utilizing an EHR including progress notes and treatment plans.
Work as a part of our multidisciplinary team to provide person centered mental health services.
Work collaboratively with program participants, their families, and community partners to assist in achieving client’s treatment goals.
Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study. Excellent written and verbal skills.
The ideal candidate for the position will have previous experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders and enjoys working in a supportive team environment.
