Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise PTAs and therapy technicians.
Bill within the setting, following the guidelines for facilities.
Understand and comply with the PT board's rules and state regulations.
Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care.
Understand adaptive equipment and incorporate it into care plans.
Evaluate patients, create and modify their plan of care as indicated based on their condition.
Use Medical Center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks.
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapist; new graduates encouraged. Exceptional candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered.
State‑specific licensing and BLS certification.
Ability to stand, walk for long periods, and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Proficiency in using medical computer systems.
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
