Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Sumter, South Carolina. The role is a 36‑hour per week, 8‑hour shift schedule.
Responsibilities
Perform evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
Comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations and state licensing requirements.
Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care.
Understand adaptive equipment and incorporate it into patient care.
Evaluate and create a plan of care, modify it as indicated based on patient condition.
Use medical center computer systems in performing daily tasks.
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience; 1 year required, but 6‑month experience accepted for exceptional candidates.
BLS certification and state‑specific licensing.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for long periods.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Pay & Benefits
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
